Meeting and March

today we had the fourth monthly meeting for gwinnett green. we recaped the glass auction, which went extremely well. also got the news out for our next event. gwinnett green is going to host a dodge ball tournament. details are set and will be published soon in the newsletter THC the heads column monthly. check out the video above. it was filmed and edited by member bobby gray, much thanks.

Auction Action

Anyone planning to submit a piece for the Glass and Art Auction this Friday night is encouraged to please bring it to the Christmas Lounge anytime this week or early Saturday before the auction starts.We plan on cleaning all glass so the sooner you can get it to us the better! Also, don't forget to bring any artwork you would like to auction as well.the collection is already growing.If you plan on setting a reserve price on anything you enter in the auction please let us know before hand, otherwise the bidding starts with the first wager and highest wager wins it!

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR COMING TO THE MEETING LAST TUESDAY! For everyone else who wasn't there we have several party/fundraisers coming in the next few weeks. We are going to be hosting a food drive for the homeless, then handing out food and goods to the homeless in Atlanta.
We will also be having a used Glass Pipe and Water Pipe Auction party.Everyone can bring their old pieces to the auction and make a little spending moneyand help a good cause,Plus a kick ass Party!
Another Kickball tournament and BBQ is in the works as well as another Slip-and-Bleed kegger. We also hope to have another concert or two this summer.

We also will be adopting a Road in Gwinnett County. more info on that to come...

We are having a GwinnettNORML logo design contest and everyone is encouraged to participate. simply submit an idea in black and white and you will be entered in the contest.Everyone will also be able to vote on their favorite designs to help decide a winner. This logo will be featured on our T-shirts,business cards, stickers,fliers, and all of our other multimedia . Once the winning Logo is chosen we will have the t-shirts printed and throw a Tie-dye party for everyone to make their own shirt.

We Marched!!!

we had a fairly good turnout for the march yesterday. gwinnett green would like to thank everyone who showed up and gave the cause their support by marching with us. we met at the park at 11 and marched as soon as channell 2 news finished interviewing gwinnett green's founder. we were happy the news showed up, which tells us that we are making progress. the first step is letting the community know what we are doing, and the march was a good way to do it. we had some fellow marchers come all the way from anderson south carolina. we also had some people on the street join the march. this was amazing. once again we would like to say thank you, and keep fighting the good fight to decriminalize marijuana.

Sweetwater 420 Fest... April 18 & 19

It Went Well

yesterday we had our first monthly meeting for gwinnett green. we had a good turn out of folks. the meeting didnt take much time, but there were a lot of important things discussed. serious stuff wasnt the only thing that went down. a lot of people showed up early and stayed late. there were games of hack going on and a bit of ping pong too. even hit the keg up a time or two.

all of us here at gwinnett green thank everyone who showed up. it was a good time and i cant wait till next month and with everyone's support we can make the next meeting even better.

A LOCATION FOR THE 1ST ANNUAL GWINNETT GREEN DISC GOLF JAMBOREE HAS BEEN DECIDED UPON. THE JAMBOREE WILL BE HELD AT A PRIVATE DISC GOLF FARM OUT IN BARROW COUNTY(NEAR WINDER) BEING ON PROVATE LAND THIS IS GOING TO ALLOW GWINNETT GREEN TO THROW DOWN FOR A 2 DAY EVENT. JUST KNOW IT IS GOING TO BE SOO MUCH MORE THAN A DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT. LIVE MUSIC, FOOD,A BONFIRE, KEGS,PARTY FAVORS, AND WE WILL BE SHOWING SEVERAL MARIJUANA DOCUMENTARIES AND FILMS ON A MOVIE PROJECTOR. THE 1ST ANNUAL JAMBOREE IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!
